To drum up excitement for this year’s topic, Nature and Me, we have arranged a field trip to the Macao Meteorological and Geophysical Bureau. This is a great opportunity to peek inside the bright and breezy field of weather science.
活動地點 : 氹仔大潭山天文台斜路地球物理暨氣象局 Macao Meteorological and Geophysical Bureau
活動日期: 9月16日(星期六) @ 10:00 – 11:30AM, Saturday, September 16
交通安排：接駁巴士 9:30於氹仔中央公園停車點集合; 11:45送回集合點 Transportation has been arranged, pickup at 9:30 and drop off at 11:45. The meeting location is at Taipa Central Park
對象: 13 至 25 歲學生 Students studying full time in Macao, aged 13-25
語言: 粵語 Cantonese Chinese
費用全免，名額有限，先到先得 Space is limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
凡未滿 18 歲的參賽者 (以 2023 年 9 月 1 日計算 )，須於報名時一併上傳已簽署的家長/監護人同意書掃描副本

Youths visited SMG to discover the challenges and opportunities
brought by climate change to sustainable development
因應第三届「全澳英文徵文比賽」的主題「自然與我（Nature and Me）」，澳門演講專業協會日前舉辦「自然與我」氣象遊活動，組織約30名來自10所不同學校的青年學生，拜訪地球物理暨氣象局，了解氣象監測工作，並就氣候變化及可持續發展議題展開討論。
In line with the theme of the 3rd “Macao-wide English Essay Competition” (MEEC), Nature and Me, the Macao Professional Speaking Association (MPSA) recently visited the Macao Meteorological and Geophysical Bureau (SMG), the supporting unit of the competition, and successfully organized the “Meteorology, Nature and Me” field trip. The field trip included over 30 participants from 10 different schools ranging from 8 to 21 years of age.

Transportation Arrangements: A shuttle bus has been arranged
集合點： 氹仔基馬拉斯大馬路與哥英布拉街交界，即近濠庭都會第十五座
- 途經 T413 氹仔中央公園/哥英布拉街巴士站的巴士 – 11、30 及 36
- 途經 T369 基馬拉斯/氹仔中央公園巴士站的巴士 – 37 及 H3；
溫馨提示： 停車位有限，建議選擇乘坐本活動安排之接駁巴士
Pickup Point： Close to the intersection of Avenida de Guimarães and Rua De Coimbra, near Nova City Tower 15
- Bus Stop T413 Parque Centraldataipa / Ruade Coimbra – Bus 11, 30 and 36
- Bus Stop T369 Guimarães / Parque Central Da Taipa – Bus 37 and H3；
Warm Reminder： Due to limited parking space, it is recommended to take the arranged shuttle bus

- 部份參觀地點涉及戶外，建議穿著運動鞋及舒適輕便服裝，為防止蚊蟲叮咬，穿著長褲為宜。
- 歡迎大家自備水樽，由自身開始減少使用膠樽。
- 倘因天氣情況惡劣、遇有颱風或不可抗力的原因，本會將提早通知更改或取消有關活動
- As parts of the field trip includes outdoor locations, wearing running shoes and comfortable, casual clothes is recommended. Long pants is recommended to lower the chances of being bitten by mosquitoes.
- To reduce the use of single use plastic water bottles, please bring your own water in a reusable container.
- When faced with adverse weather conditions, including typhoon or other unavoidable considerations, the organizer reserves the right to reschedule or cancel the event with prior notice.
